The Veterinary Oncology and Hematology Center (VOHC)
is a specialized veterinary practice dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in animals. Our staff includes nationally recognized oncologists, led
by Dr. Gerald Post, DACVIM (Oncology). Because all that we do is treat cancer in animals, we provide our patients with the latest
and best our profession has to offer coupled with the expertise our clients need to make
informed decisions about what is best for their pet.
Almost every case we handle is referred to
us by a family veterinarian seeking expert outside counsel and support. Our approach is to work
with your regular vet to form a team of medical experts. The goal is to extend the quality and
length of your pet’s life.
This team will help guide you and your family through the many difficult
decisions you face about what is best for your pet. And, we will treat your pet with the utmost
compassion and care.
When the diagnosis is cancer, you can reach out to the
VOHC for compassionate care, expert advice and superior medicine.

| Our Mission |
We provide compassionate, state-of-the-art cancer care to pets, while striving
at all times to actively pursue better ways to diagnose, treat and prevent
cancer in all animals.
As with cancer in humans, the best approach to the treatment
of many cancers often requires use of several different types of treatments in combination. With proper diagnosis
and a combined attack on the cancer, the likelihood of a successful outcome is increased. We believe in
exploring every possible avenue of treatment, including experimental and
alternate therapies, to treat your pet’s cancer. |
