Yogi's Story
One
of Yogi's most memorable shining moments
was as an art model in my "Animal Art" classes for children. The
children were promised a live model at the last class if they behaved
well during the semester. He was diagnosed with cancer and given
2-3 weeks. Through the care of Dr. Post and Dr. Bob Goldstein of
the Healing Center for Animals, he enjoyed another happy nine months.

Jack's Story
One night I looked at Jack's leg and my heart stopped. There was a slight bulge
half way up. I immediately went on the Internet, which can be both a blessing
and a curse, and all his symptoms pointed to bone cancer. The next day I took
Jack to the vet, and the x-rays confirmed the devastating news. Jack had a
tumor. (Plus see Jack on the NBC Today Show with his owner, Jill Rappaport..)

So, this year (1997) Jazz earned her NAP, NJP, OAP, OJP and AJP agility titles, her first Master Jumpers leg,
her UKC CD and CDX obedience titles and another leg on her Junior Hunter title.

is back and better than ever! You can see in her eyes her thoughts,
"Without my friends at VOHC, I would not be back doing agility competitions
again and qualifying for the National Championships." Thanks for not
giving up or letting me give up on ME.

Gunner Dieterich
It
came out of nowhere in late 2002. One day I was chasing after falling
apples in the orchard and the next day I was too tired to move. That
winter, I met Dr. Post and the VOHC family and immediately began chemotherapy.
At first, I made weekly visits. Then it was every two weeks. By the spring,
I was able to chase the frogs around the pond and help plant the tomato
garden. Now it is 2008 and I am still romping in my gardens
